Lincoln West owns a lodge and maintains a campground at Branched Oak Lake. The property is offered year around, at no charge to any youth group who wishes to use it for their events and activities. Nearly 2,500 Girl and Boy Scout troops, Cub Scout packs, church youth organizations and other youth agencies use the property each year. Our August fundraiser at the zoo provides tickets to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo for many youth who might not otherwise be able to have that experience. Yearly, the Club hosts a Friendship Home holiday party, a Big Brother/Big Sisters picnic, and other youth events. Club members are very active in Homers Heroes, providing coordinators, coaches, buddies and other volunteers.
